This site has the potential to be an amazing resource for pre med students across the country. I made an announcement at our AMSA meeting and all of the members seemed very interested. If there is anything I can do to help build the site, please let meknow.
Thanks... I should look more about it then...
I was looking for internship abroad too since I don't have a home in US.
But that part... I will look for it... I think I will post info about internship abroad when I find about it
I gained acceptance this spring into the IU School of Medicine Cytotechnology Program. Its a year long program which, upon completion I will have a B.S in Biology and a certificate in Cytotechnology. This program concentrates heavily on cell morphology and the students ability to make an accurate hypothesis on blood and urine cell cultures. I was wondering if you new of some paid lab internships for summer 2010 that would correlate with this program.
i've been pretty busy studying. How are you?
Some questions... I logged in few times, but I don't know how to start discussions on the groups I belong. Should topics be like asking and answering??
I was thinking about asking questions or just giving out info.
Since I am still an undergraduate student, I may miss most info about the premed stuff. What would be good way to start the discussion and share info?
I belive the same, the internet has definitely changed from how it was back in the days. There is so many possiblities and connection routes.
And the amount of people signing up isn't so bad. I just hope they keep in contact, because a lot of people are busy and they forget that they signed up or lost their password, or just don't have the time to log on and browse through your discussions and links.
Hello Omar. It is nice to meet you. I receive your email earlier this morning and I thought it was interesting how you found me (through AED). I haven't quite look through everything yet, but I believe you should leave the site on private. Like you said the visitors can have a look at the homepage and can register as a member, if they decide that this website is informative.
Nice to meet you Omar.
You've done an impressive job with the website here.
and yes, I think you should make the contents of this website private so if anyone wanted to view them, they can make an account and contribute as well

Thanks,

I would suggest keeping it as is - joining wasn't a long or difficult process.
